Nettitudes Reading
After reading the assigned text in Nettitudes: Let’s Talk Net Art, I was particularly interested in the section titled The Role of the Audience. It talked about the differences in audience between film and the internet. Describing film as a local, controlled, passive audience. Internet audiences are much different, they are unpredictable, dispersed, and active.
Reading this section also made me realize that you have to be very aware of how your audience will interact with your piece. Depending on the different individuals, they could have completely different experiences when navigating through your website.
I found this reading very interesting and helpful when thinking of how to compose my own website.

Sitework . Text & Image
This photo is an image I took that I feel portrays part of the sadness and emotions I want to tell in my sitework story. Below is a sample of what my beginning paragraph will look like.
“It is a cold dreary day, I can tell by Mother’s silence that things are bad, very bad. She tries to shelter us from the terrible things that are going on daily, but it’s no use. We end up being affected eventually.”
